Responding to offers

Responding to offers from buyers is a key part of selling on Stillwhite. This guide will walk you through the process of accepting, countering, or declining offers and explain what happens after each action.

Sellers have 24 hours to respond to an offer; otherwise, it will automatically expire. Once you’ve reviewed the offer, you can choose to Accept, Counter, or Decline.

Accepting an offer

If the buyer’s offer meets your expectations, you can accept it. Accepting an offer will open the Request Payment screen, where you can add a shipping price and select a handling time. Once accepted, the buyer has 24 hours to complete their order.

When a buyer makes an offer on Stillwhite, it's simply an opportunity to start a conversation—there's no obligation or commitment until both parties agree to proceed.

Countering an offer

If you’re open to negotiation but want a higher price, you can counter the offer. Countering will also open the Request Payment screen, where you can enter your counteroffer, add a shipping price, and select a handling time. The buyer then has 24 hours to accept your counteroffer by completing the order.

Decline

If the offer doesn’t meet your expectations, you can decline it. Declining an offer ends that particular negotiation, though the buyer may choose to submit a new offer if they wish.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage offers on your items and increase your chances of making successful sales.
