About the Dress

Gorgeous dress! I bought this dress from Bridal Garden in NYC as a backup dress when I thought my alterations on my first dress weren't going well. In the end, my first dress turned out as expected and I didn't wear this beauty, though I fell in love with it elegance. Dress originally retails for around $4000 I estimate based on Lea Ann Belter prices for identical styles and materials. I purchased it at a discount.

Gossamer English net forms the sheer, illusion tulle neckline and dramatic scoop back of this fluted, fit and flare wedding dress. Swathed in French Alençon lace, Elise’s fit and flare bodice sweeps into a flared skirt of silk organza. Dress ivory organza (almost off-white) and ivory lace. Zipper back covered with delicate bbuttons. Dress exudes sophistication.

Handmade in Canada using 100% silk.

Condition: Not worn after purchase. In great condition. No tears or stains. Illusion neck would benefit from steaming, but in good shape. I typically wear a size M in blouses, 6-8 in dresses, 8 in pants, and am 5'7'' in height. If I had worn it, I would have altered it to be tighter in the bust and waist, and hemmed a couple of inches (assuming flat shoes).
