The Dress

Maggie Sottero describes it best: "Lace appliqués cascade down the bodice, breathtaking scalloped hem, and illusion open-back in this tulle over Vogue satin wedding dress. Featuring beaded spaghetti straps, a V-neckline, and beaded embellishments in a fit-and-flare silhouette. Finished with covered buttons over zipper closure."

The dress is ivory with a light champagne underlay. It has a silky feel on the inside of the dress, a beautiful lace back, and embellishments that add a sparkle to the lace.

I've only found a few tiny stains on the inside of the dress and along the edge from walking around outside, but the outside of the dress still looks pretty pristine.

Alterations

I ordered this gorgeous dress to be made 4 inches shorter than usual (which means it still has the original design vs being shortened after it was made). The dress is 54 inches long. I am 5' 4" and wore 2" heels and it just touched the ground in the front. The label says it is a 6, but I had the seamstress take it in to fit my measurements (Waist 27 inches, Bust 32 inches, Hips 35 inches), add cups (to give a little lift), and shorten the straps (total strap length is 11.5 inches). I also had a bustle added (7 invisible buttons) so I could have the dress out of the way for dancing (bustled in last photo).
