About the Dress

This classic Oscar de la Renta strapless guipure lace dress (Style 44N42) was purchased in Sydney for $8000.

The dress was made to measure to a US size 6 (an AU size 10). I then had it taken in by a dressmaker to to a size 6 (AU) now. I am 175cm tall and I wore 7cm heels in it. I had cups sewn into the dress to give a better shape to the breast area (I'm cup size B).

There was a slight discolouration on the hem after the day but it was removed with dry cleaning. It was professionally dry cleaned after the wedding. I have the receipt for this service.

I also have a gorgeous Peter Langner cathedral length veil that matched beautifully and purchased at the same time. Happy to send photos if you're interested in that too.
