The Dress

This is the stunning Rue De Seine “Chloe” gown, which is sadly out of production now. I wore this for my winter wedding in 2016 and it was the best I have ever felt! Stuning, figure hugging, different and feminine. Perfect for the “non-bridey” bride.

The dress is a size 6; I was maybe size 8 at the time, as you can see it is very form fitting on me. It also looks good slightly looser, just depends on the fit that you prefer.

This dress is extremely comfortable, it kept me warm and I danced all night in it. I instantly fell in love with it when I first saw it online; it’s the perfect mix between gothic, conservative and delicate, feminine. When I saw it in person and tried it on I couldn’t walk away from it!

Now I want someone else to have the same joy! I have had it dry cleaned so it is ready to go!

Details: Cotton embroidered long sleeve gown with button detail at sleeve hem. Form fitting silhouette with a full hem and high neck and keyhole back. Full length with a train, silk bias cut slip included.

The dress was cleaned right after my wedding by a dry cleaner with expertise in cleaning wedding gowns. She did a fantastic job and the dress looks just like new! The only small discolouration is on the back of the silk slip close to the ground and is covered by the lace overlay. It’s about a 2cm fine line that is completely unnoticeable when on. I have the dress in the original garment bag.

The following alterations have been done by my tailor: - Gown sides taken in slightly to allow for a curvier fit. Sleeves taken out a little to allow for more movement and flexibility whilst dancing (easily undone if you want a firmer fit on the arms).
