The Dress
Glamorous mermaid silhouette, made of a sparkly beaded net and a modern applique of stripes and roses, in a two-toned Nude and Ivory combination. This is the summer version of the best-selling Bella.
The gown has a glimmer that isn’t bright like a sequin, but rather a shimmer. I had a vision of a sparkly dress to shimmer during my evening and candle lit ceremony and this was perfect. I love how it changed as the sun went down -- basically I felt like Beyonce. The fabric has a forgiving stretch and is easy to move in. I wore the dress for my ceremony and reception, but it was taken off after dinner so it was not danced in.
I am 5 ft 6 and wore 2.5 inch heels with the dress.
This dress was custom made to my size, though I fit a standard US size 6. For extra drama I added the maximum train they could do on this dress, 21 cm. I also had cups (bra size 32 C) and a waterfall bustle added.
