About the Dress

My beautiful wedding dress by Amanda Wyatt 'Amelie'.

Made for my wedding in 2017 and worn once in Greece.

The dress was taken in by a professional wedding dress seamstress and can be altered again she said to be taken back out. Straps can be altered too. I had padded bust cups stitched in too but these can easily be removed. I didn't have anything taken off the length because I wanted to keep it long. It is possible to alter the length.

It has been proffesionally dry cleaned and looks like it did when new. There are a couple of hardly noticeable marks right at the bottom of the dress from where it has trailed on the floor and they haven't come out. I had to look for them once it was returned from the wedding dress dry cleaner. If the length was taken up then they would disappear.

I wore a hoop under my dress but it would have looked just as good without. The sequins and beads sparkled slightly in the sun.

I am selling my beautiful veil too, which is on a hair slide. I paid £130 for it new and will sell it for £50. It has little jewels on the end of each tier. Stunning. I am also looking for £50 for the bridesmaid dress from my photographs. It is a peachy colour and has cross over or spagetti straps with floral detail. It is a size 2 (size 8) and is made by Emma Bridals. I paid £280 for it.
