VERA WANG KATE HUDSON IN BRIDEWARS WEDDING DRESS
The dress is the exact same dress that Kate Hudson wore in the movie 'Bridewars'. I saw the movie and made a mental note to try on this dress when my wedding comes. Years later when that day came, I tried out many other styles but this one really stuck with me and I knew it would be prefect for my big day. On the day, I felt like a princess, it's so stunning with simple clean lines yet absolutely gorgeous. It moves beautifully with you and creates a whimsical look because all the layers of tulle are so incredibly delicate and light. Honestly, it took me a while to decide to sell it as I was so happy with my choice and naturally a little attached to it. I am finally happy to sell it to someone and truly hope it will bring them as much joy and happiness as it brought me.
More about the dress: The dress is made with a delicate lace corset and then plenty of amazing tulle. It fits like a glove and although it's heavy to hold when you get into it, it has a concealed belt which sits on the top of your hips and holds 99% of the dress and the skirt - this means you will never have to pull it up or feel like it's falling or slipping down in any way. Probably the main reason people go for Vera Wang dresses, as she really thinks through not only a beautiful design but manages to make sure you are super comfortable in it! Desipte the buttons at the back, the main thing which closes the dress and holds the corset is a concealed secure zip at the back.
I wore the dress from 5pm (ceremony) to midnight and danced a lot in it. I switched it to a shorter dress when we moved to the disco part from midnight to 4am but would have been equally happy to have stayed in it as it felt so amazing. You don't need to wear a wedding hoop under the dress as it is designed in such a way, that allows you to walk normally (albeit you can't walk/dance backwards at it has a train - but that's most wedding dresses anyway).
Quick Note: This dress needs space to looks its best. Its large layered skirt and train need to breathe and move around you. Think about your venue and whether it will allow enough space for the dress as you won't be able to squeeze through a narrow aisle in this... it moves with you and needs to have space to fall around you to look truly spactacular. Interstingly, despite it's size, I had a lot of guests tell me that it actually looks incredibly light and fresh as it's a very clean cut design with not much lace (only on corset) and no other flowers/motifs.
This dress was bought in a Vera Wang store brand new and was only worn once by myself in our hotel in Italy.
A truly beautiful dress if you like the fuller silhouettes/princess skirts. I wish I could have my wedding day again to wear it :)

Altered the cups of the corset a little bit but easy to take out as they are simply sowed to the inside of the corset.
