The Dress

Feel like a beauty queen on your wedding day (I sure did!) with this stunning, sexy wedding gown. I bought this dress from David's Bridal for $1100 in 2014. It's a size 6 with some excellent custom tailoring to accentuate the curves and slim the waist. I had bra cups sewn into the dress so that I didn't have to wear a bra and worry about the bra showing when moving around (dancing, bending down) in this dress. The strapless neckline has a subtle sweetheart shape that's perfectly shaped to flatter the chest. The bodice is very sturdy (holds everything in) and the dress overall is very well-made. The ivory color is rich and creamy, and the lace and beading are not overdone--just perfect. The back comes down to a slight V shape and the back closure is a zipper but it's made to look like traditional satin buttons. With the many layers of flowy organza at the bottom some guests commented that it looked like I was floating on air walking down the aisle!

This gown was professionally cleaned after my wedding by David's Bridal and it shows zero signs of wear. It's in like-new condition!

And I had the bodice just below the butt taken in so that I looked a little curvier.
