About the Dress

Wearing this dress makes you feel so beautiful, I am so glad I chose this to get married in. The dress is a fit and flare wedding gown and has a sweetheart neckline, soft gathered tulle skirt with lace applique on a dropped waist bodice, sparkling crystal and cluster scattered beading decoration, corset back and chapel length train. The applique on the bodice is shaped to emphasise the appearance of an hourglass waist. Combined with the lace up back, this dress gave me a beautifully curvy silhouette.

The dress originally was strapless but I had straps added in the same lace applique which decorates the bodice. The length of these could easily be altered again, or the straps could be completely removed to make the dress strapless again if that is preferred. I wanted straps so that I could wear a proper bra, which I was able to do without it being apparent. I am usually a 16D in bras. I am usually a 14-16 in tops, but a 10 in my lower half.
This dress is a 14, but will fit anyone between 12-14 as there is a lot of flexibility due to it being a lace up. I am 5.7 tall, and wore flat shoes underneath the dress, and the dress just skimmed the floor as I walked.

I also had one layer of the soft tulle removed from under the skirt, so that it flared out more gently.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and literally looks brand new with not a single mark on it.
