This stuningly beautiful Shangri La wedding dress by Caroline Castigliano is simply too gorgeous to stay packed away. This extremely flattering dress is made of intricate Italian ivory corded lace layered over ivory silk satin. It has narrow 1 inch shoulder straps leading to a deep v neck at both front and back resulting in an extremely elegant and feminine design. The bodice skims the bust, waist and hips and then gently flares out to the back to form a 10 inch 'puddle' train. Cost over £4000 new and was worth every penny - had so many compliments and felt utterly beautiful in it.
When the dress was made I was a slim size 10 and 5ft 6 inches tall. I wore 3 inch heels on the day which worked perfectly. At the back of the dress tucked discretely on the inside of the lining there is a bussle loop and button. This allows the bride to bussle up the train whilst dancing without detracting from the design of the dress or having to hold it over her arm.
I had a chapel length ivory veil adorned with subtle starburst crystals towards the bottom of the train made especially to match the dress and fit over the puddle train. If full price is paid I would include this for no extra charge.

The bodice of this dress was made bespoke for me as altho I am a slim size 10 my bust is larger than standard! This involved many trips to the wonderful Caroline Castigliano team in the Edinburgh shop for calico fittings before the final dress was ready to be fitted to me. Chest size at the time was 32 DD so if you are a smaller size there is plenty of room for alteration. For those ladies with a larger bust like myself, please note that the plunging v-neck was very slightly brought up to avoid any embarrassing exposure whilst dancing!
The dress is otherwise in perfect original condition.
