The Dress

Beautiful silk Charlie Brear Peyton under dress, paired with the Charlie Brear Sabine over top. Charlie Bear excels at stunning separates and on trying on the range, I found these suited my figure best. I am long in the body, shorter in the leg and the shorter top and long line dress emerging from underneath really gave my legs more length. I guess you could say it balanced my body.

I am a fairly standard NZ size 10 (UK 12) with a 38D chest if that helps. I am 165cm tall.

The cut of this dress is, in my opinion quite forgiving, in part because the silk of the dress and the lining are thick and luxurious.

The over top is beautiful lace with delicate beads sewn on to the lace. There are tiny buttons that hold the back of the over top together, which are a stunning detail.

This dress was light, extremely comfortable and wearable dress, while oozing glamour and vintage charm.

I am also selling a full length silk veil, which is entirely optional for the purchaser of the dress- this is available for an additional $100.

It has been professionally cleaned and is safely stored.

I had an expert seamstress insert modesty cups between the lining and the silk outer of the Peyton dress and there is a small loop and button that allows you to tuck the train up once you're ready to party.

If you look at the photos, I also had a string added to the back to prevent the straps of the dress falling off my shoulders.

The only flaws I can find on the dress or the top are some small loops of the hem threads, which could be snipped of or tidied. I won't touch it because I'd rather you saw it and I believe you may wish to have a seamstress check it when you take it for any alterations. Tiny, tiny flaws only and I'm being super picky on your behalf.
