About the Dress

The Emma is a beautiful Matthew Christopher gown! Paisley patterned lace garnishes this strapless, sweethaeart fit and flare gown from head to toe. With a hidden Basque waist and inverted V-shaped join line, this gown embraces each curve of the bride's body. Strategically placed lace over dotted Swiss tulle creates this classic look with a modern sheer, corseted back neckline. Dotted Swiss covered buttons embelish the length of the modified chapel length train.

Off-White Lace on top of a Mocha underlay. This dress is beaded. (The Emma comes two ways - beaded or not beaded. The beaded is the more expensive option.)

The dress was bought in a size 16 (because the store said I needed a 16 to fit my hips/butt) but when the dress came in it had to be taken in all over. I would say it fits closer to a 10-12. I fit in the sample size 8 (so my dress might be altered closer to an 8) but it was too tight in the butt that's why I had to go a few sizes larger. (So the butt/hips are more like a size 10/12.) I'm 5'5" but and I wore 3" heels during my wedding.
