The Dress

This gown is from Vera Wang's classic collection and combines French tulle and organza to create a soft mermaid silhouette. Tissue organza rosettes in the train of the gown include Ivory Blizzard Beading, creating a beautiful and dramatic visual when you move or dance in the gown.

Included in the purchase of this gown:

- Two Vera Wang sashes, valued at $150 each ($300 in total), in the colours Blush and Ivory.

Within days of returning, this gown was professionally dry cleaned and restored, and is now safely stored in a dust proof box with the complementing original Ivory and Blush sashes.

In order to ensure that we protect the dress from any potential damage for the new owner, no try ons will be available.

Pick up is available from Wollongong Region or Mosman, Sydney.

Alterations

Alterations were completed by Sydney’s most renowned dress specialist, Joanna, at Sew Special – the only alterations service Vera Wang Sydney suggests. A total of $1,250 in alterations was spent in order to enhance the Gemma gown – all of which are optional changes and can be undone at any time.

Alterations:
- A custom tulle skirt was created to dramatise the gown’s train. This is optional and can easily be removed by simply unclipping the customised skirt.
- Padding was added to enhance the bust area – these too can easily be removed should you wish to.
