The Dress

The Iconic Vera Wang Ethel was my Dream gown, worn for my wedding.
I love this dress so I am very sad to be selling it. It was absolutely perfect and made me feel sexy on my wedding day!

The Gown was purchased personally, at Vera Wang, Sydney. I have all receipts if required.

This beautiful figure hugging gown is made from Stretch Mikado so its figure hugging whilst being comfortable at the same time.

The skirt is a stand out feature of the dress!
Layers and layers of tulle and silk organza which blend to the train. The train has a bustle under the skirt so this can be buttoned up for the reception if you are not wanting the length.

I am 178 cm tall and I wore flats on the day. I am a size 12 and have a F cup The dress would fit a size 10-12. The beauty with this bodice is that is has a bit of stretch to it so it will mould to any figure and you can sit down with no issues!!

The dress comes with Original Vera Wang authenticity cards, 1 x original Vera Wang wooden coat hanger, 1 x Original Black Vera Wang Grosgrain 3 inch Sash and an Original Vera Wang Cathedral Veil with Blusher (Veil cost $570) however this has slight tears which could be altered length wise to remove them.

The dress also comes with The Syndals dry cleaning professional dress box which was extra cost at $150.00 so you wont need to purchase it when you get your dress dry cleaned after your wedding.

My measurements are approx: Bust: 39 inch Waist: 31 inch Hip: 41 inch, I Purchased the gown in a size 14 as my bust measurements required the larger size however it has been altered to fit a size 12.

I had the dress altered at Sew Special - The one and only recommended alterations business in Australia that Vera Wang will recommend, located in Sydney.

Sew Special has also put a belt inside the gown so it would hold perfectly in place all day with no pulling.

The dress and veil were dry cleaned at Syndals Dry-cleaners in Melbourne, The best wedding dress dry-cleaners available, costing $900.00 however there is a slight light pink stain under the left arm due to spray tan.
