About the Dress

Jane Hill 'Tommie' wedding dress (my dream dress!) worn August'24 in San Sebastián, Spain.

Originally ordered in a size 12 for £2,450 - but adjustments were subsequently made to the bust, waist and length to tailor it to my shape (normally I wear size 10 UK on top and size 10-12 UK on bottom as a guide, bust size 34D).

Fabric is crepe - super comfortable, easy to move around in, very flattering material and breathable even during the heat of an abroad wedding. A bustle has also been added.

I had it dry cleaned by a bridal specialist immediately after the wedding and it has been returned in excellent condition in a breathable bag (I also have the original bag from the bridal store I bought it from).

Wedding dresses can be so dauntingly expensive when you're having to save up for a wedding - however, at the time of looking for wedding dresses I couldn't find the one I wanted second hand. So, here's hoping if you are a similar shape and size to me, that this might be the one for you!

Alterations

I had a few minor alterations made to the dress costing me £370 in total. These included a small shoulder lift to the straps to ensure no movement, taken in slightly at the bust, taken in at the waist, shortening the dress slightly, and adding a bustle to the dress.
