In terms of my height I am 5ft 6inch and the heels I wore on the day were very small at about 5cm height, just for context to understand the length of the dress.

Alterations

The leg split was reduced slightly but this could be opened up again. There is a hook on the back to bustle the dress for the evening reception. There are hooks stitched on the inside for detachable skinny shoulder straps to keep the dress in place by the time the evening reception comes around.
