About the Dress

Inspired by J'Aton Couture, this stunning gown was custom designed for my wedding in March 2016.

Hand crafted in white silk, metres of custom beadwork from India, sheer mesh from New York, and a custom printed white silk which form various panels throughout, over 1,000 sewing hours went into the creation of this dress.

Featuring a Mermaid silhouette, with a V neck front, a backless design and double straps which can be worn either off or on the shoulder (picture 5 shows it worn off the shoulder, and picture 6 on the shoulder).

The gown features C cup padding sewn into the bodice, to help with support and shape, with a small train just under 1m long which is finished in beadwork around the hem of the dress. The dress also has a button on the interior of the dress which shortens the train for dancing, etc.

I still receive comments about how stunning and unique this gown was, and given the hours that went into making it, I would love to give someone else the opportunity to feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day.

The gown has been dry-cleaned by Regal Drycleaners, and I have the receipt available for this.
