The Dress
This design first appeared in Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2020 Bliss Collection but was made-to-order in Sprint 2024. It features a high-low cut and hand-appliqued green accents. A romantic five-foot train adds a touch of drama while a custom bustle allows for easy movement and dancing (pictures above show the dress bustled and unbustled). All alterations were done professionally by Monique Lhuillier's in-house tailors.
Other notes:
I preferred a fuller skirt but there are many layers of tulle underneath that can be removed to create a more streamlined look. The dress is in nearly perfect condition. I had it on for about three hours and then immediately had it professionally cleaned.
Matching veil is also available for purchase.
Alterations
All alterations were done professionally by Monique Lhuillier's in-house tailors. I had it hemmed slightly (I'm 5'2" and wore 3" heels). I also had some embroidery added to the back to hide the zipper. The dress also features a custom bustle.
