The Dress

I loved wearing this dress! It's timeless and elegant, with a touch of modern sophistication. It has silky, flowing fabric that shines beautifully in the light. You can truly feel the quality of the fabric when you hold it. The dress has a fitted bodice that flows into a flattering A-line silhouette, a high slit on one side, and a delicate beaded detail along the waistline. Plunging neckline in front, and a deep V in the back. I wore it with a bustle, but if you'd like a longer train, simply leave it un-bustled. I'm about 5'2" and am wearing 3-inch heels in the photos. It fits almost perfectly, there's just a bit of extra room in the bust. Someone with a slightly larger chest than me would find it that much more flattering! I chose to wear it with minimal accessories (pearl earrings and a matching necklace), but you can dress it up with statement jewelry as well. It strikes a balance between classic and contemporary and is perfect for a modern or even minimalist bride. The dress was made and worn in 2024. It has been professionally deep-cleaned and looks brand new. Though I'm sad to part ways with this dress, I would love for another bride to be able to wear it instead of buying something new!

Alterations

Minimal alterations—I hemmed the front of the dress about 1 inch and shortened the shoulder straps by about half an inch. I also purchased the beaded waist belt separately and had it sewn on.
