The Dress

This Sophie Dress from Laleh de Couture features a stunning strapless design with luxurious satin and graceful drapery across the bodice. It has a timeless elegance to it and has a beautiful detachable bow you can wear on the back of the dress. The long train and bow makes a statement and has also been thoughtfully customised with care to be able to pin up at the back so you can dance!

What makes this dress unique and modern is that it has an asymmetrical neckline design which I absolutely love and which looks amazing in photography too! Additionally, I felt so comfortable in my dress. I never thought a wedding dress could feel as comfortable as this dress. Also, as I have a larger bust, it was unbelievable how the corset back and customised bodice held me in and gave an amazing shape.

I wore my beautiful wedding dress at the end of September 2024 and just got it professionally dry cleaned in November 2024 - it is basically brand new! (it only has a minor mark at the very bottom on one side no one would notice). The specialty dry cleaner made it look new again. I am happy to share more photos as well.

It should also be noted that you can wear this dress as is, or you can rent/buy a hoop petticoat to wear underneath it (2 hoops is recommended) if you would like to add some more volume to the dress.

Alterations

Laleh, the wonderful designer of this dress altered the dress according to my changing body so it doesn't have an exact size. As it has a corset back, it is flexible with sizing and it could likely fit sizes 12 to 16 (and you could do some very minor alterations if you need, but highly unlikely).
