The Dress

I had to purchase this dress approximately 2 weeks before my wedding due to an alteration situation that went terribly terribly wrong. Because of that, you can see the dress was is essentially unaltered. The shoulder has been shortened slightly but there is a portion under the bow that is cotton and the tacks can easily be taken out with no damage to anything.
I never planned to have a big dress with a train but I unexpectedly loved the overskirt when I put it on. It ended up meeting needs I didn’t know I had! I had the most romantic/dramatic photos of the wedding and our couple photos and then it made it so nice to be able to just take the over skirt off for the reception and I didn’t need to worry about a bustle or catching on anything.
The dress was quite comfortable, has a side slit so shows the leg, eliminating that giant white blob feeling that I got in so many bridal gowns. My personal style leans toward a structured dramatic and this dress, to me, really hit that mark.
The dress was professionally dry cleaned, there are very small stains to the bottom of the sheath dress just from walking, but the are minimal and just to the edge of the seam. Unless you were on the ground looking for it, it is not visible, with the over skirt on, there are no stains.
The dress is best for someone an Australian size 12, or below if you want to alter. I’m 168cm, I wore small kitten heels, approximately 3cm, sheath dress just touched the floor perfectly.
