About the Dress

I have decided to sell my beautiful wedding dress. Seems daft it sitting in a cupboard when someone else could make use of it! This is a Maggie Sottero Raphael Dawn wedding dress in a subtle Blush with Ivory detailing. The dress was worn once for my wedding day celebrations in October 2021 and was then professionally dry cleaned a couple of weeks later. It has been stored in a Wedding Dress box since then. At the very back of the dress on the bottom underskirt there are a few slight marks on the train which did not come out completely during the dry cleaning. You cannot see these at all when all of the layers of the skirt are down but I’ve included a photo to show them for transparency. This dress cost £1480 new. I am looking for £700 or nearest sensible offer. Ivory cathedral length veil can be included for free if desired.

Alterations

This dress was bought as a size UK 18 (I would say in wedding dress sizing this is closer to a standard 16) and professionally altered to fit me as a standard UK size 14 after I lost weight. I’ve added a few photos from my wedding day to give an idea of fit and size. For reference at the time of my wedding I wore a 34FF/G bra. To give an indication of length, I am 5 ft 7 in height and wore flat Doc Martin boots on my wedding day.
