The Dress

I love this dress to the moon and back! It was absolutely perfect for me, and I received so many compliments on the day on how stunning it looked! As much as I would love to keep it, I don't want it sitting in a wardrobe collecting dust. I would love to give it a second life and for someone to love it as much as I did.

It is a curve-hugging mermaid gown with intricate embroidered floral motifs, sweetheart neckline bodice with spaghetti straps. It has figure enhancing side panels that really look like they're sinching you in as it is a nude illusion bodice - the fabric underneath the floral lace overlay is nude illusion tulle so it keeps you covered while providing the sheer illusion.

I decided to get an ivory lining as I thought it looked best with the ivory lace on top - also doesn't make it look like you're nude underneath.

It has a low back with intricate looking buttons down the back, making it whimsical looking. The lace cascades down the skirt to a scalloped lace train - Looks absolutely stunning while walking down the isle, as you can see in the photos!

I purchased a sheer veil from Eternal Bridal (where I also got the dress), and it really completed the look! I got the veil to perfectly line up with the dress' train when both fluffed out, making it a perfect ensemble.

I just got the dress and veil recently dry cleaned by a professional dry cleaner who focuses mainly on wedding dresses, as I didn't want to ruin the intricate lace. She did an absolutely fantastic job - It looks ready to wear tomorrow!

Can't wait for another lucky bride to feel as beautiful in the dress as I did! Veil included in the price.

Alterations

I ordered the dress in a size 12 and then got the following alterations done with the tailors at Eternal Bridal:
- Waist and hips taken in slightly
- Hemmed to allow the bottom to just touch the floor with shoes on
- Added double padded bust cups
- Straps shortened slightly to be more secure on the shoulders
- Added bustle on the back to allow train to be pinned up while dancing etc
