The Dress

“Elba Gown” by designer Oksana Mukha, purchased for $3500. Size 6.

Cap sleeves, high neck lace bodice with beading and pearls. An a-line layered princess skirt with horsehair trim so it’s always flaired out.

Padded bra cups stitched into dress.

Buttons all the way down the back, with a hook and eye + internal zip.

It was professionally altered to my height plus small heels (approx 178cm).

Has been professionally dry cleaned for $600. There are some very small holes in the tule on the bottom of the skirt layers from the dance floor, but thanks to so many layers you cannot see these when it’s on.

I absolutely adored my gown and felt amazing in it. I was worried whether or not I’d be able to dance in it, but I did our first dance and boogied all night long in it, and felt amazing and totally unrestricted. Loved everything about this gown.
