The Dress

My beautiful silk Mikado ivory ballgown was custom-made by the very talented Georgina Marzano.

The dress is made from the most perfect natural ivory coloured silk material that was hand-picked and ordered in to give the dress that romantic timeless elegance that I was after.

The dress has an inbuilt corset and adjusters to make sure that it hugs your figure perfectly (This also means that the top of the dress is able to sit up alone which is amazing for beautiful photos that you can see in the link I have attached at the end).

There is also built in padding for chest area to ensure support for the breasts. The collar of the dress is removable so that you can have the freedom to wear it either way or have a second look and create a strapless neckline for the dress. It also has the most amazing custom hand Made crosshatching on the material that Georgina created herself. The dress sits over and under Skirt which made moving around and dancing all night super easy. I honestly felt that the dress was very lightweight and I didn’t have many problems with stepping on it at all.

The Veil was made in a cathedral style using the same coloured ivory as the dress and has a strip of crinoline attached to the end to create volume so that the veil could hold shape.
