The Dress

Dress Features:
• Fit and flare style
• Lace motifs over Talin stretch crepe
• V-neckline
• Plunging illusion V-back
• Beaded spaghetti straps
• Lined with Donella crepe
• Zipper closure with covered buttons trailing down the train
• Scalloped lace cutout train
• Nude organza lined lace bodice, which turns to sheer lace at the top where the straps meet the cups

• Back hook (just under bum) to hold up train
• 3D embellished flowers on bodice and train

The Dress:
• Standard length gown (I am 5ft9&1/2inches tall) and wore 1inch heeled sandals which allowed the skirt to perfectly just graze the floor. I’m usually a 14 on the bottom and 12/14 on the top.
• No alterations to the waist/hips/length of skirt. Minor alterations to the top of the boddice around the cups (my bra size UK 34DD/36D).
• The material had a good amount of stretch which allowed me to walk easily, sit comfortably and dance. I never felt restricted by it. It was a good choice for summer given style and lightness of the material, I never felt weighed down by it.
• Recommend wearing with a mid-waist seamless thong (no VPL as it hugs the bum), the back is low but depending on high the underwear goes you may be able to see it through the sheer bodice.
• Dress was made [removed] year crossover for summer wedding 2024.
• Comes with full length bag cover, it is currently stored hung up and will be until sold and posted.
• Minor creasing (when transporting it) to the crepe dress came out easily with a steamer on the day.
• Additional hanging straps were sewn on by seamstress when it went in for dry cleaning, these are to only allow it to hang better – suggest cutting these off when you wear the dress so they don’t fall out.
• Original Maggie Sottero label intact inside the boddice with cleaning instructions/size and product code.

I love this dress, it is fantastically made, the seams are perfect and contoured my body, detailing is stunning and it fits like a glove. It made me feel beautiful and for me was perfect style as I wanted something beautiful, special and not over the top. It is a shame to part with it but I’d rather it goes to another bride than be stuffed into the back of a wardrobe forgotten for the next 20+years or even worse dismembered for a craft project/christening dress or whatever else. I hope that you love it as much as I do!

Alterations

Minor alterations to the top of the boddice around the cups (my bra size UK 34DD/36D).
