The Dress

Purchased as three separates plus the silk tulle neck scarf. Each piece is beautiful separately and together but I have had a change of heart and am going in a different direction with my dress.

The Penelope corset is a standout piece of this year’s season and can be worn long after the wedding as a separate. Most photos show it with the Sadie skirt but the Maya is a very similar cut in a more matte crepe fabric (compared to the Sadie’s shiny satin) and works better under the pleated tulle over skirt, which brings a beautiful ethereal softness to the elegance of this look.

The photos of me in the dress with all pieces together do not do it justice. The over skirt is so light it was hard to capture it properly in the store lighting.

All pieces are either brand new or samples and are unaltered. Located in Sunbury VIC, happy for you to come and try on.

Penelope corset: Penelope is a fully boned and elegantly structured corset style accented with a modern scoop neckline and feminine, contoured panelling. The hem sits slightly out from the body, and just a little above the hip, allowing brides to still be able to sit down comfortably and move around with ease throughout their day. Penelope creates a beautiful, feminine silhouette due to the firm-fitting bust and waist, and the figure is further accented by the subtly flared hem.

Penelope pairs like a dream with any Prea James skirts, and allows brides to create two looks in one when layering with the Lana Blouse for a modest ceremony style, and then removing the layer for the perfect elevated evening look.
