The Dress

For sale is the stunning Blue by Enzoani ‘Narine’ wedding dress with optional veil, bought brand new from an online boutique with an original RRP of £2,800. I wore this dress from 1:30pm to 8:00pm on my wedding day before changing into a second dress, and it was incredibly comfortable the entire time! The fabric is light and stretchy, which made it easy to move around in (despite how it long the train is, and how it looks difficult to walk in) and is perfect for wearing all day.

The dress is made from high-quality lace, tulle, and layers of stretchy thin material that hugs the body in all the right places. It would fit a size 14-16 for a very fitted look, or a size 12-14 for a looser fit. I was a size 14 when I wore it, and after losing weight to a size 12, I found it a little too loose for my liking.

There have been no alterations to the dress apart from the sleeves. It originally came with drooping sleeves, but I much preferred the long sleeve look and the drooping ones kept snapping off when I raised my arms half way, so I opted to buy additional sleeves and fabric from a seamstress, who sourced matching lace from Enzoani for £250. She also used the 3D flowers to add to the sleeves from the droopy ones, so I no longer have the original sleeves.

Unfortunately, one of the sleeve attachments broke on my wedding day, and we had to get creative by cutting the tops open and sliding in clear bra straps to keep them up. I would recommend threading elastic through the sleeves for a more secure fit, but this has been reflected in the asking price.

It has been professionally cleaned, however, it had been a little damp on the day of wearing it on the grass (it was October 2023) and so a little staining has occurred on the under layers of the dress. This is not visible unless you lift the top layers of the dress up.

The dress will come in a high quality dress bag with a pole in the middle and a strap for carrying (worth £60) as the dress’ hanging loops on the bodice were cut off by my MUA on my wedding day due to them being branded with the “blue” logo and therefore very visible through the mesh and lace of the bodice. However, the loops on the very long train are all very much still intact.

If you like my veil too, I am happy to throw that in with the dress if you buy it for the price I’m asking (it was £200 in the boutique, but I got it in the sale for £120).

This dress is perfect for someone looking for a light, comfortable, and beautifully detailed gown with the option of sleeveless or with sleeves. The mesh and lace cut outs on the hip are stunningly placed and give off a bit of a sexy vibe without being too much (a skin-tone lace thong from Victoria’s Secret was invisible underneath for me).
