The Dress

Iris by Savin London is a beautiful strapless/off shoulder (detachable straps) A-line gown with a stunning plunge neckline and 3D floral detail. It has an ivory lining which sets off the stunning 3D white flower detail and is absolutely breathtaking. I felt so amazing in this dress on my wedding day, it was so comfortable & light!

The "undercoat It is a beautiful sleek ivory gown with a split with a (not detachable) mesh overcoat with beautiful 3d flowers and petals . I loved this because it was a cross of a sexy silhouette dress with a twist of a statement bold wedding overskirt.

The dress was made to measure, size 10 UK bust/waist and size 12 UK hips. It has been altered slightly at the bust/waist. This has been measured on the dress as follows - bust 30inch and waist (the defined waist line visible in the dress) 29inch. I wore flats on my wedding day, I am 5ft 9 and the length was altered to the perfect length. The train however is longer. The length from the top of the bust of the dress to the floor at the front is 57 inch.

The dress has been professionally cleaned by a wedding dress dry cleaning company however it does have some marks/flaws, mainly at the bottom of the dress. Photos have been taken to show a true representation.

The train is in particularly good condition however the bottom of the front of the dress has a slight tare on the underneath bottom (see photo). If you’re shorter than me & aiming to take up the dress I would say it would be perfect for you as the majority of the flaws would be removed. The very bottom of the underskirt is dirty however this cannot be seen through the dress & in essence it taken up would be removed altogether.

A couple of petals have marks on them which personally I don’t think would be noticeable to someone who didn’t know they were marked. I have tried to inspect the dress following cleaning as best as possible to ensure it’s truly represented on here! I fell in love with this dress and I still am, it’s perfect for someone who wants a beautiful dress at a fraction of the price! The price reflects the condition which was £3900 full price.

The bottom of the dress more so than the train is muddy so whoever has it would either need it dry cleaned or ideally taken up. There are also petals/leaves on the dress which look like they have water marks (I've added one as example) in my opinion not noticeable unless up close but again something to consider that your seamstress may want to take some petals and move them to other areas .
I'm 5,7 and wore 6 inch heels and it was still too long for me hence the mud at bottom. The length from bust to floor is 54.5 inches (80 inches with the train).
The photos in the showroom are a sample I tried on clipped back. There are photos of the dress being sold on the day i wore it and the one hanging up is how it is now .The picture of it hanging is to show the condition and see the mud but have added close ups too. Again the price reflects the condition with over 75% off over £3050 discount.
