The Dress

MUST READ ALL DETAILS - THIS DRESS WILL ONLY WORK FOR A CERTAIN TYPE OF BRIDE/WEDDING.

I purchased this dress used in January 2024 for my private elopement in Mexico. When I was inspecting the condition of the dress, I noticed some slight blotching throughout the entire dress but it was only noticeable in some lighting. When I spoke to the seller she informed me that she had it dry cleaned after using it and it was sitting in the garment bag ever since. The issue was the tag on the dress says do NOT dry clean and that by doing so, it left some damage to the fabric. Like I stated, I don't have a clue how I was able to see these blotches but only under certain lighting was it noticeable. Because there were no friends or family invited and I wasn't in any situation for a guest of mine to notice any damage, I took the gamble and kept the dress. I have confirmed with my photographer that all professional photos taken of the dress are unaltered in any way and not a single photo she took captured any of the damage.
If you are dead set on the Goldie as I was and you're either having a very casual wedding or looking for a dress to change into for reception/engagement photos.. this is a steal. Pictures were taken September 2024 and washed on delicate once I was back in the states. Dress tolerated being steamed by a standard conair steamer wonderfully and it truly is hassle free. I think my favorite feature is being able to tie the train to the halter tie for dancing/walking, and a windy day sure does allow this feature to shine.
There is a small makeup stain on the inside of the dress from when I put it on, but it's not noticeable once on. I did not treat any stain prior to washing so perhaps some oxy or a tide stick might take care of it. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and send more photos/videos.

Alterations

only alterations done were thin strap across the back was tightened slightly to fit and the front of the dress was hemmed about an inch, but the length of the train was left alone.
