The Dress

Stunning, elegant beaded and sequinned bodice with silky floor-length skirt and slight train. Satisfyingly weighty skirt that falls elegantly. I am 173cm and I wore mid heels. Thigh high slit. Very flattering shape. Deep open back with buttons down the skirt and hidden zip. I’m an A-cup but there is definitely room for a bigger bust. Dress size 12 UK/This was a one-off dress I bought from Modes in Newmarket in Auckland. Pronovias were trialling a design that they then decided not to pursue. A few missing sequins and one missing bead not noticeable due to its location. Small amount of greyish where train touches the floor at the back and front inside collar (see photo) but this can’t be seen when it is worn. Stored clean with acid-free tissue in a wedding dress box.

Alterations

The skirt was taken up as it was miles too long for anybody under 7ft when I bought it new. Waist slightly taken in but still fits me as a size 12. Not a tight-fitting style of dress.
