The Dress

This elegant satin wedding dress was custom made by incredibly talented seamstresses based on sketches I had made and their vision. I met with them last year (2023) for fittings and they finished the dress at the beginning of this year. As it got closer to my wedding day I decided I wanted to wear a high neck gown instead and so this beautiful dress has never been worn outside of the dressmakers' boutique. It has been kept pristine in a garment bag in my wardrobe in a smoke-free and pet-free home.

The ivory satin of this dress has a gorgeous sheen that feels incredibly bridal and looks brilliant both in person and in photos. The dress has a ribbed corset bodice (as shown in the final photo) that provides support and gives a flattering fit. The back of the bodice has beautiful satin-covered bridal buttons that hide the corset lace. The dress has two white, lightweight under-layers that provide structure, comfort and a base for the satin outer-layer of the gown as well as a short zip at the back that makes getting into the dress easier.
