The Dress

This beautiful dress is a custom Georgia Young dress which was altered by Georgia Young's recommended seamstress (Sophia Rotar from Inpira).

I wore this to my wedding in February 2024.

The top section of the dress is fitted with a snug corset which zips up at the back and has been wrapped with thick crepe fabric (Same fabric as the “butter” dress).
The crepe fabric wraps around the dress from the front and has clasps which fasten the fabric at the back, with a V shaped back line.

Both sleeves of the dress are fitted to sit off the shoulder and really beautifully accentuates your collarbone.

Bottom of the dress is hand beaded with a small train. There are hundreds of small raw cut crepe circles beaded into the skirt. The little fabric circles are raw cut and have frayed edges by design.
Waistband is thick white crepe material.

Dress was purchased from Georgia Young as a couture sample so there are no GY tags on the dress.

Dress has been recently dry cleaned by Syndal’s Drycleaners in Armadale and in excellent condition.

The only noticeable wear on the dress is at the bottom of the dress on the train area (the area where the fabric sat on the ground) where the beaded circles have some wear.
I have additional beaded fabric strips that you can take to a tailor to have this amended.
