The Dress

I bought this brand new and had slight alterations which I listed below. It has been professionally dry cleaned and boxed. I loved the bodice of the dress which is made of lace & mesh, with built in cups. I didn't wear a bra but you could add sticky bra for extra support or lift. It's an open back and the lace detail matches the lace on the train of both the dress and the custom cape.

Alterations

I removed the key hole at the back to make the back entirely V-shape/backless.

My seamstress also custom made my cape - this is not the Pearl cape from Enzoani, as I wanted the cape to be made from tulle (I wore the cape instead of a veil), and more "see through" than the Enzoani cape. My seamstress also took some of lace from around the train of the dress and used this to place lace around the end of the cape. The cape sits 1-2feet longer than the dress train and they match perfectly. The cape is detachable. I wore it for the ceremony/afternoon, and then detached it for dinner and dance floor.

Also added two bustles and had the spaghetti straps reinforced to make them stronger - they were quite delicate so just made sure they wouldn't/couldn't break!
