The Dress

Custom made dress by Anna Kara in 2023. Used for our wedding day in June 2024 so has been worn once only and was sent for dry cleaning right away to achieve the best result.

When choosing an Anna Kara dress I absolutely loved the bodice from Jude but wanted the flowing chiffon skirt by Angelina and so the designers put the dress together themselves creating a beautiful bespoke dress that I absolutely adore! The dress was so comfortable to wear and had a magical flowy feel to it. Given the delicate lace it was surprisingly robust but gave such an elegant and unique look!

I have had the dress professionally cleaned by Terrington Burchett and it is currently in pristine condition with a tiny (thumbnail) sized tear in the lace at the bottom of one sleeve that you wouldn’t notice but could have repaired (could do yourself as it’s so small and unnoticeable).

Alterations

As described above - two Anna Kara dresses combined by the designers themselves with lace overlaid. The label size was a 40 but I had this taken in quite a bit to become a UK 8-10. I also had the length altered, I am 5ft 4 and the dress was just above the floor when I wore my wedding shoes (Loeffler Randall Camellia block heels). My measurements are provided in the advert but if you need to know anything specific let me know.
