About the Dress
I wore this dress for 3 hours for our San Francisco city hall elopement wedding, it is in truly impeccable condition taking in consideration the gown is made out of wool/silk and literally anything will snag on it. If you go to the Danielle Frankel studio they will tell you how "fragile" this material is.
The top of the dress preserved really well, there are 2 pulls worth noting: one on a sleeve and one on the front where the folds are, and small fraying near the zipper in the back. The rest of the "damage" is really where the train is, my local dry cleaners did their best, but they were not willing to risk silk, so they took out what they could. Message me for detailed pictures of all the train pulls, stains, silk fabric impressions, they aren't that visible and depending on your height it will be all cut off anyways.
Here is some context for fit: I am 5'8" athletically built, small breasts, big hips. I sized up in the gown in order to ensure that the sleeves fit me, easier to take a sleeve in than out. My bicep circumference is 11.5". I wore Jimmy Choo Bing 65 2.6" heels, so the dress is altered for those shoes, you can see in one of the photos how they are peaking out so slightly. I honestly would recommend somebody who is size 0-4 get this and just alter it down.
Happy to answer any questions! This is truly a magical gown, you feel sexy and bridal at the same time. I hope to make another lady happy with it.
I purchased the gown directly from Danielle Frankel NYC studio, can show receipt.
Alterations
The sleeves were taken in, but my tailor left all the material in there to be let out if necessary.
Silicon holder on the sleeves, so they don't fall off.
An additional loop on the corset, so it really stays in.
Slightly taken in around the waste, maybe 0.5" or so.
Added a wrist band on the inside of the train and a finger loop on the tip of the train.
