The Dress

Incredibly Flattering. Elegant. Comfortable and lightweight. Fitted, trumpet skirt with train and a V-neck lined top with a lace layer over a sheath layer and a velvet belt. Silk lining with nude mesh and white lace / appliqué. The back is not lined, allowing you to see the beautiful lace. Has some white sequins throughout the dress which create a stunning subtle shine - can be seen in photo 7.

The bow belt can be worn in the front or the back, depending on where you want to draw emphasis.

There is some slight fraying at the bottom and a few small tears on the inside layers of tulle, though not noticeable unless you flip the dress up.

Alterations

I had a bustle added (single point American bustle just below the belt / on my bum - see photo 7). It allowed the detailed lace to still show all night long and made it much easier for walking / dancing.

I had the gown shortened as it was too long originally. It was brought to a professional bridal seamstress and was raised at the waist and re-fitted to the original shape in order to not lose the beautiful flower and scalloped detail at the bottom of the dress.

The shoulder straps were raised by ~1 inch to allow the neckline to sit flatter on me.

Cups were added but a thread on one broke on one side of one of the cups so will need one stitch added :)
