The Dress
I wore this dress to marry my best friend in March 2023. It made me feel so beautiful, which is not a feeling I normally experience. For someone who dreaded going dress shopping, I truly found my dream dress. It has a "latte" (brownish) underlay with an embroidered lace overlay on top. It's perfect for someone who wants something a little less traditional, but still very bridal and ethereal. There are areas on the bottom of the dress with minor accretions from wearing it on my wedding day. Overall, it is in great condition and I'm sad to see it leave my closet! But, I'm hopeful that it can serve another beautiful bride as well as it served me.
Alterations
I had minor alters to the dress to fit my body. I also added a bustle and lace sleeves. The lace for the sleeves is the same embroidered lace on the rest of the dress.
