The Dress

Are you a short and curvy bride-to-be like me? I had so much trouble finding dresses my size, I had this one made to my exact measurements and it was a PERFECT fit! I'm 5'0" and 155 pounds with bra size around 34G. I made this dress to be floor-length in flats so my heels would peek out (all the better for showing them off).

Square neckline, no train, polka dot tulle, lovely flower detail. "Corset top" -- has boning but it zips up. The bodice is fairly sheer, so I wore a skims strapless bodysuit which worked perfectly even without a bra (and I NEVER go braless IRL).

The only downside to this dress is that the sides are a little itchy on the upper underarms. I got used to it pretty quickly on the wedding day, but I had some detachable sleeves ready as backup, so I'll throw those in for free if you want them (they were never used!).
