The Dress

I adore this dress. I wouldn't consider myself a big-dress, over-the-top gal at all, but when I tried this one on, I instantly got teary and knew it was special. This dress is timeless, romantic, and makes enough of a statement (fitting for the one of the most important days of your life!) without feeling too fussy or intense. I learned that good posture is key in this dress—slouching makes the top bodice a little looser (might be totally fine on another bride, but that's how it was for me). But you don't want to slouch on your day anyway! The train isn't crazy long, but you will want your maid of honor, your mom, or a good pal to help you with it. I'm 5'6", but my shoes were flat and about half-an-inch tall, which is why I rounded my height up to 5'7" with shoes on. Overall, I loved how I felt in this dress. I felt calm, confident, and beautiful. I would love someone else to wear it and hopefully feel the same way!
