The Dress

I felt like royalty on this special day. Our first dance involved a full lift in the air, which I was nervous about, but it was successful!! On that same note, I loved twirling around in this dress, the design is so beautiful! Something to note is that the straps do not secure or hold the dress, it is the corset/waist piece so it is meant to fit tight to hold this beauty. Not to say that I could not breathe! I definitely could and lasted 6-7 hours in this dress but expect a "corset" feel. I'm including the veil with this dress as it has the same finish as the dress's ruffles; it is a cathedral-style veil.

Alterations

Brought in to make slightly smaller, hemmed to make shorter (I am 5'4"; shoe was 1.88" platform, 4.38" block heel), added boning for bust support (my bust size is 38 DD), sewed ivory sash (originally removable and option to make big bow) securely but removed the option to have a big bow in the back (as shown in the original design, if you were to search the design name on Google for instance).
