The Dress

Size 18 (16) Allure Bridals wedding dress. Champagne and ivory colour. Champagne under lining and ivory lace overlay. I was a regular size 16 with a 16DD bust and i am 169cm tall, i wore 6cm heels with the dress. Heaps more photos available.

Dress has a zip up back with 10 actual buttons and then many more that continue asthetically down the train all the way.

Boned corset front. Low back (hence the extra bust support, see alterations). Worked a charm 👌

Tulle and satin layers.

Professionally dry cleaned, immaculate condition.

Alterations

Adjustments that were made by a professional bridal seamstress -

- It has bust padding/support that was added to give shape and support to my bigger bust, i am sure a seamstress would be able to remove them if required.
- Shoulder straps were pleated together, to stop them slipping off my shoulder (also looks way cutier!)
- 1 reinforced button on the back of the dress to hook the train on to after the ceremony if you wish. It has a reinforced ribbon to attach it with as well.
- The belt was also added and stitched on, i was told it could easily be removed by a seamstress if required.
