The Dress

This stunning Pallas Couture gown is custom made haute couture, constructed using the finest ivory silk and beautiful beaded lace sourced in Europe. I worked with the Sydney company and style director, Rebecca to create my one-of-a kind gown which took 5 months to design and make, and I wore it on my wedding day this April.

The design is timeless yet contemporary with a strapless sweetheart neckline, built in bustier with full boning, covered buttons along the back, semi-sheer lace panels trickling down the side of the hips, and an exquisite train with the same delicate lace appliqué as used on the bodice. Touches of pearls and beading on the bodice were hand sewn on to elegantly catch the light and highlight the lace. What makes this gown such a statement piece and so laborious to create is the meticulous lace placement on the bodice, hips, and godet which is perfectly symmetrical, and the extensive panel work on the bustier and throughout the entire dress. You will appreciate the attention to detail and be amazed by the workmanship and construction of this elaborate gown.
The silhouette is truly dreamy and flatters and highlights all the right parts the body. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and received so many compliments all day from guests and wedding suppliers. The compliments haven’t stopped coming since, so I would love another bride to enjoy the dress and feel as elegant and special as I did.

The train can also be bustled up to provide a completely different look, and it makes it a lot easier to do your first dance in!

The price includes a matching full cathedral length silk tulle Pallas Couture veil worth $790 and a Pallas Couture dress bag.

The gown is in immaculate condition, professionally dry cleaned by Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners, who are recommended by Pallas Couture and J'aton for $600. I have the original dry cleaning receipt for the buyers reference.

I am 159cm short (5'2), the heels I wore on the day were 11cm (total height 170cm). I am also a very small size 6, my cup size is 10C.
My waist is 59cm.
My hip at widest point (over butt) is 85cm
My bust (at widest point) is 79cm.

I made 5 trips to Sydney for this amazing dress and it was definitely worth it. So for any Melbourne bride who snaps this up, you are lucky to save on the costs of airfares and accommodation.
