Mermaid Bridal Gown by Madi Lane in Size 2 US (Size 6-8 AU). Totally unique sample style. Off-white/ivory, with mocha underlayer and glitter tulle.

This dress is the showstopper youve been searching for. A Madi Lane sample, this dress is a one-of-kind which hasn't become part of their collections - making it totally unique. This trumpet/mermaid-style wedding dress perfectly hugs your curves to show off your hourglass figure. It is completed with intricate detail on the bodice and top of the train - with embroidery, beading, glitter tulle, sequins and applique flowers creating a stunning 3D affect.

You will sparkle in the sunlight, with the layers of glitter tulle creating a subtle yet stunning affect on the dress. There is an invisible zip at the back, and a bustle has been added to make it easier to dance in!

I walked in to Luv Bridal with an idea in my mind of the dress I wanted, but the second I put this dress on, I knew it was the one. The sheer cap sleeves are beautiful and floaty, and the intricate designs created on the dress made me feel like a true princess.

The mermaid cut of the dress flares out right underneath your bum, further accentuating your curves, while the waist cinches in perfectly. The bodice has built-in cups and hidden boning for support, so all I wore underneath was a pair of nude seamless underwear.

This dress was comfy, gorgeous and the perfect wedding dress for any type of day!

This gown features a long train which pairs beautifully with any length of veil. I personally wore a shorter veil which reached my fingertips.

I am selling my dress so that it doesn't sit in the top of my cupboard gathering dust, when it can make another person feel just as beautiful on their wedding day.

I wore this dress for our ceremony and into the beginning of our reception - about 6 hours. I then had it dry-cleaned and preserved in a box. The dress is pre-loved and in excellent condition.

I am 164cm and wore 12cm heels.

The dress is labelled as Size 2 (US sizing) and is a standard size 2. This equates to approximately a size 6 to a small 8. My measurements listed are the measurements I was while wearing the dress.

Alterations

The only alterations to the original dress were:
- To slightly shorten the hems to adjust to my height wearing heels. (176cm total)
- Add a bustle at the back (pictured)
- Stitch the cap sleeves to the Spaghetti straps (originally the cap sleeves sat off the shoulder however I didn't like that look)
