The Dress

Absolutely gorgeous A-line dress that I wore for my July wedding last year. It’s made of super light, comfortable material with a botanical-themed embroidered bodice, and the cathedral train is a showstopper.

It’s a UK size 18 (bridal 22) and was very minimally altered from there as the sizing was pretty spot on. My bust is a 38GG with cups in the dress and invisible boning around the waist, so perfect for a bustier bride! I am 5”7 and the hem has been made to reach the floor wearing 2 inch heels.

Alterations

The original dress had spaghetti straps (see final pictures) and I had it altered to make slightly wider straps using the same embroidery as is on the bodice (close-up in picture 5).
