The Dress

This dress is beautiful and I loved they way it hugged my hips for an hourglass curve. It has covered back buttons down to the chapel train and a thin/simple waistband that accents the dress perfectly. The back of the dress features a fold-over accent along the top of the dress. Dress is fit and flare and crafted in luxe crepe material. The dress originally had off-the-shoulder sleeves, which have been sewn into the dress. The seamstress mentioned to me that she didn't want to cut off the sleeves so they should be able to be modified back to the original off-the-shoulder sleeves if desired.
The dress fit fairly tight on me and sitting down was a little uncomfortable, but that's how I wanted it. I wanted it to be tight enough to suck everything in.

I only wore it for about 3 hours until I changed into another dress for reception. However, the dress is a little wrinkled and has a little bit of dirt on the bottom of the train. I got it pressed before the wedding, but you will need to get it cleaned and pressed before use. There are not any stains on the dress and it's generally in great condition. The only flaw with it is the train because it was dragging along the ground. The top part of the train is only a little dirty and that's just because our photographer wanted to get pictures in a field with a scenic background. It should be able to be cleaned and the dirt should come right out. The dress itself came out to $1,900, plus over $3,000 in alternations.

Alterations

I spent over $3k on alterations. Alterations included: Shortening the train and bottom of the front of the dress, sewing in the off-the-shoulder sleeves into the dress to make it strapless, added buttons to the dress for the bustle, curving in the wire on the sides of the dress to help with the hourglass shape, and removed some of the filler fabric under the dress.
