The Dress
I originally bought this dress in January 2024 for my summer elopement. I went through the alterations process and realized this dress felt too formal for my venue. This dress was purchased from a bridal shop as a "sample" and has never been wed in. The dress has had alterations (see below) but has been pressed and steamed. It has stayed in the garment bag from final pick up. Photos are from pre-alterations.
Alterations
The dress is made of crepe and has a mid-thigh slit. The alterations consisted of taking in the bust to fit my body, replacing the back zipper, adding bust cups (can be removed), hemming, and adding a wrist loop to carry the train. The dress was hemmed to skim the floor (I am 5'5" and wore 2" heels to my fitting).
