Essence of Australia Angie D3586 Classic Wedding Dress Labelled Size 14 but more like a 12. Pre-loved & Professionally Cleaned
Located Binfield, Berkshire – viewing in Bournemouth/Hove/Coventry/St Albans (& routes in between) by arrangement.
My daughter has made the difficult decision to part with her stunning wedding dress from June 2023.
After a few very emotional days with my daughter searching for the perfect wedding dress, I was quite surprised when she went out one morning and bought it. She knew what she wanted – simple timeless, elegance that speaks for itself; buttons all down the back, cathedral train with a plain veil. Should you want to make this dress your own, it would also be the perfect dress to customise with the easy addition of lace/sparkles
My daughter is 5’ 6” (she wore 3.5” heels), a size 12 bust. She had a waist band added (made from the bow) and some minor professional alterations to give a perfect fit. The skirt has a slit with invisible poppers to close it. Her wedding was in the middle of a heat wave. When in church no one saw the slit, but it did allow her greater freedom later.

Alterations

Done professionally. Waist band added (made from the bow) so it looked perfect without a belt (although you could add one). Minor alterations – shoulders shortened slightly, taken in from the waist upwards (we think that the fabric is still there, cannot see as fully lined). Shortened at the front to be correct for her height.
