The Dress

This beautiful dress made me feel like a princess on my wedding day, with a subtle lilac/blush layer under the lace which really makes it stand out.

The train is dramatic and lovely in photos but overall I found the dress to be easy to move around in. It comes with a little velvet sash which actually is really pretty on, I opted to wear it.

I had it professionally cleaned and carefully boxed for another bride. The photos of it hanging up are what were sent to me after the professional clean, where I can not see any marks (and I know there were none on the bodice from the night). There may be some residual marks left on bottom or underneath from being outside but nothing else.
Message from the bridal shop:

"Hi Lorna,
Please be advised that your beautiful gown is now cleaned and ready for collection. The cost of this is £150 cash upon collection. To make you aware that although we have tried our best to remove all the marks on your dress that some stubborn marks remain which is completely normal."

Alterations

Dress was ordered in the shorter length, so no alterations to the length were made by the seamstress, however the straps were taken up slightly, the waist taken in and a hidden bustle loop was added in the skirt.
